Visiting a church for the very first time can be a bit nerve racking. Where do we go? What do we wear? What time do the services start? Is there anything for the kids? What will the services be like? All of these questions, and others just like them, are normal. And because we know this information is important, we have tried to anticipate and answer any questions you might have. If you have a question and can't find the answer on this page, please do not hesitate to call the church office at 620.624.7601 and speak to one of our ministry staff. They will be glad to help you.
1. Where is Fellowship Baptist Church located?
Though we have been in our current location for more than 50 years, people still ask, "Where is your church?" You will find our Worship Center at 217 W. Walnut. When you arrive you will find special parking places reserved for our guests. Please feel free to use these spaces. They are for you.

2. What are your service times?
We offer four service times during the week which include Sunday School, Sunday morning, Sunday evening, and Wednesday evening. In order to meet the various needs of your spiritual life, each service is different. In order to "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ," (2 Peter 3:18) we encourage you to attend each service. As you do, you will enjoy great fellowship, inspiring music, and solid Bible teaching.

3. What can I expect at Fellowship Baptist Church?
You can expect to be made to feel "at home." The Fellowship Family is one of the friendliest church families you will find anywhere. Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our greeters. They will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and then direct you and your children to the appropriate locations.
During the Sunday School/Bible Study time (9:45 AM), both you and your children will receive sound Bible teaching from one of our many gifted teachers. Then at 10:45 AM, during the morning preaching service, your children will have a blast in one of our three Children's Churches, while you enjoy the wonderful music presented by our adult choir, soloists, and various groups, followed by a challenging message from Pastor Bill Prater.
4. What do you have available for our children?
That depends on the age of your children. We have ministries availabe for every child from infants to college age students.
If your child is 3 years old or younger, they will be well cared for in one of our two clean, well-staffed nurseries. If you have an infant, you will be issued a Parents Call nursery pager which will allow you to be notified should the nursery workers need to make contact with you.
For those children 4 years old through the 6th grade, we have several classes which combine faith and fun to create a learning environment that is exciting, yet instructive.
Our Student IMPACT ministry is for those young people in Junior and Senior high. Our student ministers understand the critical nature of this stage in your young person's life, and are very active in one on one ministry to each student.
The Navigators class is designed to help college age students chart a right course through the difficult waters of early adulthood.
5. Do you offer a variety of adult classes?
We currently offer four adult classes for single and married adults. Each group takes the timeless truth of God’s Word and brings it to life—your life—for today. You will meet people with common needs, people who will encourage you, rejoice with you, and pray with you, people who will become friends for life.
6. What should I wear?
Members and visitors to our church wear everything from casual or business casual to a suit and tie or dress. Our concern is that you feel at home and enjoy your visit with us.
